Google Street View Rides Camel Back

Whilst we admit we were pretty hooked on Google Street View when it first launched, the excitement of being able to search for fuzzy photos of your front door, your childhood home or your place of work has lost its novelty.

However the latest Google Street View images to be released have re-ignited our interest in the service. Google's Street View cameras, normally mounted on creepy little cars, have been given a desert make-over, and hoisted onto the backs of camels to capture 360-degree imagery of the Arabian desert whilst avoiding environmental damage of the desert's delicate environment.

The resulting images are pretty incredible. Endless sand filled vistas, huge skies and a whole heap of beautiful nothingness.
